Fiddleheads is a warm and playful after-school program and Summer Camp, offering children therapeutic support and social and emotional instruction. Quest provides a 7-week summer therapeutic program for children with mild to moderate emotional/social problems. Individualized treatment plans are utilized to facilitate change with all of the fun camp activities. Go to www.questcamps.com for more information.
UC Berkeley’s Blue Camp, located on the UC Berkeley Campus, runs a one-of-a-kind social skills camp and leadership/work-skills program for youth entering 4th – 13th grade with Nonverbal Learning Disabilities, High Functioning Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, and similar social skill deficits. There is a teen leadership camp and an elementary age summer day camp; both programs are about 10% of our summer camp population, so the majority of the campers’ time is with neurotypically developing youth. Tikvah is a Jewish residential summer camp and offers a two-week program for campers with special needs. Amitzim program primarily serves campers with mild to moderate intellectual and developmental disabilities.
