  • Any educational or informational handouts you wish to distribute
  • An easel if you would like to display any poster-sized materials

  • Helium balloons and confetti are also prohibited in the building.
  • You do not need to bring table cloths or extension cords.

Arrival, Parking, Setup, and Cleanup

  • Veterans Memorial Building will open at 5:30 p.m. to provide 30 minutes for setup before the event starts at 6 p.m.  Please arrive with adequate time to unload materials, find parking, and set up your table space.
  • You can unload materials at the roundabout in front of the building entrance before parking.  We will have someone watching your materials while you find parking.
  • We request that you park on the street and leave the parking spaces for the special needs families.  There will be plenty of street parking on Mt. Diablo Blvd.
  • While neither SEED nor the building staff can provide assistance with unloading and setting up materials, we will have your designated table space set up with a table cloth.
  • Each participant will share a six-foot table.  If you need more than 3 feet of space, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • There will be outlets, extension cords, and Wi-Fi available; however, we recommend that you come with your electronic devices fully charged and ready to go.
  • Veterans Memorial Building will close at 9:30 p.m. to provide 30 minutes for cleanup after the event ends at 9 p.m.

The information and resource fair is an open house event, with anywhere between 100 to 300 people attending (adults only).  Please plan to have a representative at your table during the full 3 hours of the event.

We feel fortunate to have you participate in this event and support our mission to provide resources and information to special needs families. As a gentle reminder, our goal for this event is to provide special needs families with an opportunity to learn about the resources available to them in our community.  With this in mind, we ask that you please not provide incentives during your presentation (e.g., raffles, giveaways), although informational handouts and business cards will be appropriate and appreciated.

Thank you for sharing your great work on behalf of special needs children and families. If you have any specific questions regarding the resource fair, please contact the SEED Resource Fair Committee member who invited you.  If you have general questions about SEED, please email the SEED board at

We look forward to seeing you at the resource fair.
