Special Announcements

Don't miss us at Mascot Day. We will have a table at Mascot Day for each of LAFSD's four elementary schools and Stanley Middle School. Stop by, say hello, and find out the events we  have planned for the next couple of months.

With school starting soon, have you given any thought to how you plan to tell your child's new teacher about their special or diverse learning needs? Use our Parent Report to give your child's new teacher(s) a quick overview of your child and ideas to use immediately to help your child transition to their new classroom.  Once you create this Parent Report, you can also use it to easily brief other educators in your child's life: camp counselors, Scout leaders, sports coaches and more.

Who We Are and What We Do

SEED provides a wide range of support and resources to families of children with special and diverse learning needs, as well as training programs for educators who work with these children.  The programs we fund include recess facilitation, after school social skills play groups, educational seminars, support groups and socials for parents and teacher training.

SEED is grateful to all the individuals, corporations, foundations and trusts who make charitable contributions that make these important programs possible.

SEED was founded in 2006, became a legal entity in 2008 and received non-profit status in January 2010.
